Marc Douglas Myers, Senior Member

Practice Description: Marc Douglas Myers’ practice is devoted to all aspects of bankruptcy law including creditor advocacy, corporate and individual debtor representation and representing bankruptcy trustees in various litigation matters in the Southern District of Texas.

Prior Experience: Mr. Myers is a native Houstonian. After graduating from the University of Texas, Mr. Myers attended South Texas College of Law, graduating with honors. In 1996, Mr. Myers joined Adair & Myers, P.L.L.C., as an associate and has since become a senior member of the firm.

Mr. Myers began his legal career as a civil litigator, representing clients in a broad range of litigation matters including commercial litigation, consumer protection, real estate, personal injury, family law, probate and bankruptcy related litigation. Mr. Myers has represented both plaintiffs and defendants throughout Harris and surrounding counties in various state and federal courtrooms.

Mr. Myers’ varied experience gained from over a decade of legal practice has taught him to look "outside the box" in assisting clients. He describes his approach to practicing law as pragmatic with an emphasis on creative problem-solving. Being an advocate is not limited to simply filing a lawsuit, but understanding the client’s goals and how best to achieve them.
